In the industry and especially in the cement industry, due to the adverse consequences of climate change, it is necessary to take measures that allow the real reduction of greenhouse gases and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. SPR Group is a company with experience in the integration of technology for waste management, designs and installs different equipment for the handling, management and valorization of waste and treatment of RDF (refuse derived fuels).
SPR Group offers customized consulting for manufacturing companies especially in the cement industry to start adopting new technologies that enable and optimize the use of Refuse Derived Fuels RDF for the energy recovery of waste in their plants.
SPR Group has worked with different companies in the cement industry in the implementation and engineering of RDF in plants. The trend is for this industry and the general sector to use alternative fuels in plants.
The primary objective in many of the projects that SPR Group is carrying out is to increase the capacity and availability of the facilities to reach regular levels of substitution of alternative fuels in the kilns between 60 % and 80 % approximately, increasing the current levels that are within around 30 %. SPR technology available to the industry
The role of our company is to work on two fronts for the generation of RDF; one is to work, improving, optimizing and increasing the availability of the facilities for the dosing and treatment of RDF in the cement production plants with state-of-the-art equipment and technology; the other front is to collaborate directly with the waste management companies and RDF producers to optimize and improve the facilities of the treatment plants with the objective of generating cleaner and better quality alternative fuels.
From SPR Group we want to follow in line with the industry: the national aspirations to tend to the creation of less polluting fuels and to depend less and less on fossil fuels. At SPR we install technology adjusted to the needs of the companies and we are involved in improving production lines, optimization and development of feeding and dosing technologies of Refuse Derived Fuels (RDF) to cogeneration plants.
Refuse Derived Fuels (RDF) to cogeneration plants.
Our team is constantly working with the intention of adjusting to the needs of our customers and offering measures according to market requirements. SPR Group has worked with different equipment with high quality standards, combining technology, design and engineering available to each client. Some of the most outstanding equipment in the generation of RDF are:
-SPR Bag Opener, a machine designed to open and empty bags of all sizes that arrive at both municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment plants, The main features of this shredder type bag opener are its simplicity and efficiency, minimizing consumption and maintenance costs. The machine fulfills its objective of opening even the smallest bags without being “aggressive” with the material inside the bags.
– Zigzag Separator, a versatile equipment, which allows the air flow various bulk materials according to their specific gravity, shape and size. Highly efficient for the separation of heavy and improper materials in very small particle sizes (<25 mm).
– Air Table, an equipment that allows to separate bulk materials according to their specific weight and shape.
– 3D Vibrating Screen, a circular vibrating screen driven by an AC motor. It has a solid surface that ensures good material flow, increases the service life of the screen panels and avoids blockages, a proven screening solution for recycling materials of different characteristics with high efficiency.
-DRS Disc Screen, An equipment composed of the unique Tri-Discs ™ that are in line from shaft to shaft, and create a precise opening for high precision material sizing. Their hardened, triangular steel shape provides superior material agitation and true sizing in a small footprint. Patented gear synchronization, combined with variable speed drives, allows for perfect tuning for different material conditions.SPR Group remains on track with environmental trends and continues to work to become a strategic partner for companies in the cement industry. We have a group of specialists in waste management, recovery and processing. SPR Group seeks to provide support and work with the highest standards in the alternative waste generation industry, adapting to the needs of our clients.
