The improvement of the recovery and evaluation of metals percentages, as well as the improvement of the qualities obtained from the current processes, has become in recent years one of the main objectives within the recycling sector.
Metals Recovery Plant
Improvement of the recovery percentages in existing lines and new lines of metal recovery in fractions so far considered as a rejection.
The fact of the increase of the landfill costs, the increase of regulations and the requirements of improvement of qualities for the outgoing of these materials, makes that technologically more and more, an improvement in the current processes is necessary as well as to open new developments of processes in order to face these challenges.
SPR Group integrates solutions for the treatment and recovery of metals.
We design tailor-made solutions and processes, depending on the application required.
In recent years we have specialized in the improvement of qualities and recovery in fractions from Aluminum Canister, Fe and NFe Metals, Automotive Shredder Fractions, Incinerator Slags and Salt Slags.
SPR Group has specialized during the last years in processes of recovery of fine fractions, of materials coming from Automotive Shredder Fractions.
The treatment of these fine fractions (<25 mm) is based on a crushing process with impact mills, designed to pulverize the mineral parts and achieve a spherification effect of the material, and a subsequent separation process.
Do not waste metals in refuse fractions. The main challenge.
Recovering metals from refuse fractions or underestimated fractions.
Based on a thorough study of the treatment processm and the analysis of intermediate and resulting fractions, SPR Group, together with its technological partners, has designed its own process for the recovery and evaluation of Fe and NFe metals, contained in fractions that up to date were considered as rejection and ended up in landfills or it was not possible to fully recover the content.
